About Noxious Weeds and Rank Growth in Village

Per Village Municipal Code 7-10(f), landowners are prohibited to have grasses, lawns, and other vegetation such as noxious weeds and rank growth exceeding in eight (8) inches in length or more. 

**The Village Board has voted to allow "No Mow May" to encourage the health of early pollinators**

Although the Village annually provides public notices by posting them at the Village posting sites and the Village newsletter, residents would still like clarification about specific noxious weeds.  Please see below for prohibited weeds referenced in the ordinance.
